The International Standard for Safety Management
AS/NZS ISO 45001 specifies the requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. It is designed to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injury and ill health, and proactively improve OHS performance.
ISO 45001 is built on the same high-level structure as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, making integration straightforward. It supersedes OHSAS 18001 and aligns closely with Australian WHS legislation — meaning the work done to achieve certification also supports your legislative compliance.
