Strategy for Operational Exellence
Whilst we can’t help you with a general strategic plan for the whole of the Organisation (which is not our area of expertise), Incremental Improvements Australia Pty Ltd (II-AU) can help you develop an Operational Strategic Plan. An Operations Strategy will look at the whole process, end to end, that is emplaced to generate revenue. We then review that process to identify areas of inefficiency and improvement.
Improvements that would be beneficial to the Organisation are then subjected to Engineering Principles to identify the actions that will best align with your Organisation’s goals. The proposed improvements are then reviewed against a calculated prioritisation procedure so that an improvement plan can be formulated.
Our final step is then to benchmark the proposed improvements against a range of known industry measures and KPIs that we know, from experience, will seek to achieve the best outcomes. Two examples of measures that we might use as benchmarks are:
Benchmark / KPI | Typical of Industry | Prior Successes |
Revenue Per Person Per Year | $220k to $240k | Typically around $480k |
Revenue per sq m per month | $300 to $400 | Typically $600+ |
Please note this data is based on a business of less than 25 Employees running a single shift in South East Queensland. Factors may affect results in other scenarios (e.g. level of automation) and geographic locations.
Our Strategic Operations Plans can look at some or all of the following in order to determine the most efficient and productive process for your Organisation:
