About II-AU

What we do

Incremental Improvements Australia Pty Ltd (II-AU) specialises in assisting small to medium sized manufacturers in Australia to achieve greater productivity, efficiency and profitability using the same or proportionally less resources.

We achieve this using the proven principles of Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Industrial Engineering.  The Company Founder is a formally qualified and practicing Manufacturing Systems Engineer.

Manufacturing Systems Engineers and Industrial Engineers work to design, develop and implement efficient systems and processes within an organisation.  They take new or existing product designs and specifications and use that information to work out:

  • How to make the product, including Design FMEA
  • What machines and equipment are needed, including Process FMEA
  • What tooling, jigs and fixtures are needed for accurate, repeatable and efficient production
  • Workplace design & ergonomics, including optimisation for safe workspaces
  • How many people are needed and where they are needed
  • The layout of the facility and how much space is required
  • Specifications for the skills, responsibility and reporting structure for personnel
  • How the product will be tested for compliance
  • Strategies for the effective identification & control of Strategic, Managerial and Task based risks
  • A compliance strategy for relevant legislation (e.g. WHS – Workplace Health & Safety)
  • A compliance strategy for relevant standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001 are the most common)
  • Training of Personnel including process documentation, skills assessment & training records.

Rarely do we get involved with a product from start to finish, but we do often get called upon to optimise systems and process to increase the efficiency & effectiveness of those systems for our Clients.

If you wish to improve productivity, efficiency and the profitability of your Organisation using the same or proportionally less resources, then give us a call on 1300 00 IIAU (4428).
